Ian brought us a jigs dinner this morning...at 7:45am. He made it himself. What a star. Pam ate it for breakfast, right out of the bowl....he was really proud of her. I hope that when I am 86, I'll be getting up at 4am to boil vegetables for the neighbors. Well, really I just hope that when I am 86 I'll be getting up.

Mama Mia! We had to clean the house!
The gang from the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador came for a studio visit and lunch today. I cooked for days....I had no idea how much 30 people could eat. I only have us to judge by (which, as it turns out, was not good judgement...we'll have leftovers until 2011!) Everything was great, the sun was sunny and we loved having everyone here for the afternoon. Please come again. The cats (who were banished to the bedroom and were not allowed out, hope that we never have company again).
